Our Story

     Growing up in a single-parent household alongside my siblings, I witnessed firsthand the challenges of making ends meet. With my mother working tirelessly to support our family, there were moments when putting food on the table became a daunting task. Despite the hardships, my mother, Jewel, never wavered in her love and dedication to us. Her resilience in the face of adversity served as a beacon of strength and inspiration.

    Reflecting on those difficult times, I am reminded of the transformative power of faith and perseverance. It is through God’s grace and my mother’s unwavering spirit that I am compelled to give back. Thus, the Jewel Center, Inc. was born—a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing nutritious meals to those in
need.

   Our mission is simple yet profound: to alleviate the burden of hunger for individuals and families facing similar struggles. Whether due to temporary setbacks or ongoing hardships, we aim to offer a ray of hope and sustenance to the most vulnerable members of our communities.

  At the Jewel Center, Inc., we prioritize serving populations often overlooked or marginalized, including the homeless, elderly, veterans, disabled, and children in need. Through our efforts, we strive to foster a sense of community, compassion, and support for those experiencing food insecurity.
